During a special ceremony, the church’s Fellowship Hall will be renamed the ‘Rev. London C. Knuckles Family Life Center’.
Rev. Knuckles has a legacy of service and commitment to Shady Grove Baptist Church, its surrounding community, Cherokee County, and the state of South Carolina. Before his call to the ministry, he served as Adult Sunday School teacher, deacon, and chairman of the Board of Deacons for more than 30 years. He is especially noted for his never wavering love and deep concern for the welfare of Shady Grove.
The Rev. Knuckles will deliver the morning message. “Mighty Oaks” and special guests from the community will also sing and participate on the program. Everyone is invited to attend.
The church’s Young Women’s Auxiliary (YWA) will prepare a special dinner for the honorees, guests, and church family.
